Prayer and Liturgy
Give glory and honour to God
When we pray together ..........
We wonder, we learn and we understand the importance of prayer and our faith.
We think about the mystery of God.
We explore our own beliefs and we celebrate together.
We thank God that we have been chosen by him and we try to live as Jesus wanted us to.
We learn prayers that are part of our Catholic tradition and we try to understand the messages they hold for us today.
Our children pray daily through weekly assemblies and daily classroom prayer. Key Stage 2 children plan and deliver their own Celebrations of the Word Year 5 and 6 children also lead Celebrations of the Word in EYFS and Key Stage 1 classes.
We regularly celebrate class masses in church with Fr. Peter and come together as a whole school for Feast Days and other special occasions in the life of the school and the church. These include child-led reflections during Harvest, Advent and Lent which are always beautiful and joyful and well attended by parishioners and parents.
