TEMPORARY LUNCHTIME WELFARE ASSISTANT VACANCY

                                   

The Governors of St John's Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a temporary Welfare Assistant on a casual basis to assist in the care and general welfare of pupils across the 4-11 years age range during the lunchtime period, 6 ¼ hours per week.


Our ideal candidate is someone who is able to:

  • Supervise children during meal times and in the playground
  • Support children in developing social skills
  • Organise activities
  • Work in a team situation
  • Manage behaviour in accordance with our Behaviour Policy
  • Support the school in making lunchtimes safe and happy for the children.

 

Desirable Qualifications: First Aid qualification 

Desirable Experience: Working with children, Safeguarding
