RE

In RE, we are going to be learning about the Catholic Church. We will discuss the church in the world, and learn how Jews celebrate God's love and care.

English

In English, our fiction story is The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch. We will talk about the characters and use adjectives to describe them, make a tasty packed lunch for Mr Grinling and write a story with a twist. 

Maths

In Maths, we will develop our understanding of multiplication, division and fractions. We will finish the half term with consolidating our understanding of money and time.

Science

In Science, we will learn about the human body. We learn the names for different part of our body and will discover our five senses and how we can use them. 

History

In History, we will learn about transport through time. We will discuss different types of transport, and meet different significant people who used transport to get to their end goal. 

D.T

In D.T we will be looking at playground equipment. We will examine how they move and will design, then make our own versions. 

Music

In Music, our topic is ‘Reflect and Rewind.' Throughout the half term we will use our voices expressively and creatively by singing songs and speaking a variety of chants and rhymes. 

PE

In PE we will develop our athletic skills. We will learn how to use apparatus safely, perform jumps and roles. We will also focus on improving our gymnastics skills
